Recycled Brochures & Booklets
Our Recycled Books and Booklets are printed on 120gm or 150gm 9lives® 80 Recycled paper with a 250gm or 350gm 9lives® 80 Recycled Card cover. The face side can be either Gloss laminated, Matt Laminated or Unlaminated.9lives® is produced using the most energy efficient processes and techniques to ensure that it is the ‘greenest of the green’.
9lives® recycled uncoated products are made from 100% recycled materials but still have the texture and quality required of a Laser and Inkjet compatible paper. This makes it the perfect choice for recycled Stationery.For our coated recycled products we use 9Lives®80, which contains 80% recycled material and 20% of FSC certified new pulp. Why not 100% recycled? The reason is that for coated grades some new fibres are needed to give the paper and card good print characteristics.
All the ‘standard’ materials we use are FSC Certified and the raw materials used come from Forest Stewardship Council certified forests. Choosing your material may come down to company policy or personal preference but now, with our new 9lives® range, the choice is yours.
In each case you can specify a large range of materials for the inner pages and have your cover printed on the same material as the inners or choose covers printed on 200gm or 280gm Gloss or Silk any of which can be laminated or 300gm equest® Card. This is an uncoated material not suitable for lamination.
Binding Options
Wire Stitching (stapling)
This is ideal for Booklets with a smaller number of pages. We fold our sections prior to assembly resulting in Booklets which sit flat and look professional. We can also Loop Bind Booklets. This gives the staples and eye so the booklet will fit in to a ring binder.Please Note: Not all stitched Booklets are finished this way. Many are collated before folding and stitching. It's easier but results in a 'springy' booklet.
Perfect Binding
For larger Books perfect binding is the most suitable option. Each of our price tables gives a recommended minimum number of pages required for perfect binding.Orientation
Our prices are for Portrait (bound on the long edge) or Landscape (bound on the short edge) Books.Please Note: A6 & 1/3 A4 landscape Booklets are finished with one stitch (staple) only.
